With our central location to Los Angeles this tour allows us to provide a tour that goes further south, north and west than any other tour company can offer from their location in Los Angeles. You’ll see LA’s most popular sights and much more. In what would easily take over two days of driving by car (That’s on a good traffic day and when was the last time you saw one of those days in LA?). You’ll see many truly stunning sights and spectacular views, only seen by helicopter.
Departing from Hawthorne Airport, we fly over Downtown Long Beach and Long Beach Harbor, The Pike, The Aquarium of the Pacific, The Queen Mary and the attack submarine Scorpion. We’ll fly through the Port of Los Angeles, along the Palos Verdes Peninsula, by Trump National Golf Course, Wayfarer Chapel, the Terranea Spa & Resort, Point Vicente Light House, Portuguese Bend (where the Channel Islands broke from the mainland millions of years ago), and the SS Dominator ship wreck. We will be flying as low as 150 feet above the shoreline past the beautiful beach cities, where you’ll see dolphins and surfers sharing the waves and airplanes taking off above us from LAX. We will venture deep into Malibu all the way to Zuma Beach. Flying low along the Pacific Ocean, over some of the most beautiful and expensive real estate in the world and home to many of Hollywood's most famous stars. It is an unbelievable view of some mega properties spread along the trip and only seen from the air. Here you will be treated to an up close view of “The Colony” at Malibu, private and secluded from the public, only seen up close by helicopter. Then it's past Pepperdine University and into the stunning Paradise and Dune Coves. We go around Point Dume State beach to Zuma Beach where we will pick up the Pacific Coast Highway and follow it all the way back to the Getty Villa. We zoom around the Santa Monica Pier past the Getty Center and then we're off to UCLA towards the cities of the Stars and their Celebrity Homes. We're off to glamorous Beverly Hills, Bel Air, Rodeo Drive, Hollywood, and the Walk of Fame. We will go past the Hollywood Bowl to Universal Studios and down into the back lot. Then it's a short climb to the Hollywood Sign, so close you can almost touch it as we fly by! Then it's past the Griffith Observatory to Dodger Stadium. We will be flying alongside the downtown skyscrapers, where you’ll see the Walt Disney Concert Hall, City Hall, Nokia Center, Staples Center and the LA Convention Center. Then, it’s the last leg of our flight over USC, LA Memorial Coliseum and past Hollywood Park. We take a right turn over the 110/105 freeway and we're on final approach to Hawthorne.
