It is with great honor that I get to write this review. I have taken tours all over the world, but none... and i do mean none... have every had me lauging to the point of tears for the entire length of the trip.
first off, there were only 2 of us on the tour, but we had 3 guides/instructions. Kennith, Jack and Steven... commedians on wheels, but top notch all the way.
My wife and I have never ridden a segway, let along done a segway tour, and these 3 guys not only may us feel comfortable, but made us feel like we had known them for years. For the entire length of the tour, we not only got some of the history of Santa Monica, but also got to enjoy watching them do tricks on segways. From Kennith and Jack giving us their version of Titanic, to Steven's "paddling a cannoe... all the way down to the "moonwalk" (keep in mind they were still on a segway at the time) it was non-stop fun from start to finish.
they may not have a facility in Santa Monia, but rest assured, they arrive eary, and dont cut any corners. They even had enough time to make a run back to the office when it was discovered the Jack left the segway keys at the office (yes jack... its on the web now, you will never live this down) but we still started the tour eary and had an absolute blast.
I read on this site, and several others that this tour company is the best thing to do in San Diego, and I must say they are well on their way to earning the same Title in Los Angelos as well.
If you only have time to take 1 tour while in LA and are curious about segways... this is by far the best way to do it. it only takes 10-20 min to learn how to ride, and by the end of a tour with this company you will feel comfortable enough to tackle any terain in a variety of situations. the bike paths were just as easy to navigate as some of the more crowded areas.

If you want to see the LA beachfront in a cool way, while seeing tons of it in 2 hours, you have to do this tour. Although my wife and I had ridden a Segway in New Orleans a couple of years ago, our son had not. Our guide Ken (the tour company owner) had him riding in less than 5 minutes. The rest of our 2 hours was an absolute blast.
Kenny was a laugh a minute and his knowledge of the area was really informative. He stopped at just the right times to show us the sites and to give us a bit of a rest from our "seg legs".
We were there for the week of our spring break and our 15 year old wanted to do all of the usual activities (Universal City, Warner Brothers tour, Hollywood) but we also did ATV riding in the desert and this tour. As far as he was concerned, this was the best thing of the week and he's trying to convince me that we need a Segway at home.
So if you are looking for a great way to spend some time and see the sites from Santa Monica to Venice, take this tour.
Thanks Kenny, we had a great time.
